Treatments for Pain

There are as many treatments for pain as there are causes. The good thing about pain is that it is there to indicate to us that there is something dreadfully wrong in our body.

In most cases the pain will eventually go away if we treat the underlying condition that causes it. Even so it may take time for our bodies to heal and the pain to dissipate.

In the interim period of time we have to use some other means to alleviate the symptoms of pain.

There is a wonderful and innovative new product on the market now that absolutely arrests most pain in it's tracks.

The best part of the deal is that it is all natural and operates in a synergistic fashion, which means that it attacks pain from several angles. Go here to get a preview of Power Strips and experience power over your pain

What is the Numerical Rating Scale for Pain?

The Numerical Rating scale for Pain is a system that doctors use to tell how much pain that a customer is actually experiencing.

Pain is subjective so no one actually knows the real extent of the trouble other than the patient who is experiencing the pain.

The patient has to rate pain on a scale of one to ten where five is moderate and all over five is intense.

Zero on this scale is no pain at all and ten is the worst possible pain. This gives an indication of what the patient is feeling. Buy Pain Relief Patches

What is Nerve Pain or Neuropathic Pain?

Nerve pain is caused by a condition within the body or more specifically the nervous system itself and not an outside factor.

The condition can originate in the central nervous system, or the peripheral nervous system.

Nerve pain is very difficult to treat. Oral painkillers are often used and sometimes injections are also used but their effects are often short lived.

Some of the causes for this type of pain are nerve degeneration, stroke, multiple sclerosis, or oxygen starvation.

It can also be caused by pressure on the nerve, a torn or damaged disc, and nerve infection such as in a toothache.

The good news is that there is an all natural patch which when applied can have the effect of seriously reducing severe pain.

Power Strips last for days and take away the need to use expensive or addictive drugs. Click the following link in order to go to our web site where you will be able to preview this product. Buy Power Strips for Pain Relief

How do you Measure Pain?

It is virtually impossible to measure a person's pain objectively. Most experts say that the best way to find out how much pain a person is enduring is by a subjective pain report. A comprehensive assessment of pain should include:
  • The identification of all the pains. This must include the most important ones.
  • The site, quality, and radiation of pain
  • What factors aggravate and relieve the pain

  • When the pain occurs throughout the day

  • What impact the pain has on the person's function

  • What impact the pain has on the person's mood

  • The sufferers' understanding of their pain
There are many different methods for measuring pain and its severity.

Health care officials more often use a scale to measure pain. This gives a general idea of what the patient is feeling but pain is subjective. The pain which is a 10 to you may not be more than a one or two to me.

I personally have a low threshold for pain but others may not feel the same way. Health care professionals say it is important to stick to whatever system or tool you chose for a specific patient all the way through. If a patient is unable to report his pain, such as an there are a number of observational pain measures a doctor can use.

Power Strips are an effective pain relief tool and have helped each and every customer who I have introduced to them.

The key is that they are all natural and one patch will last for days. I have severe arthritis which has bothered me for many years and these strips work wonders on my knees. Order Power Strips
